Something special about UNICEF Uzbekistan

Photography workshop for children - very special project by Giacomo Pirozzi and Unicef Uzbekistan, that already changed lives of ‪‎hundreds‬ of Uzbekistan based children and ‪‎thousands‬ of children all over the world!

For me, it is even more ‪‎special‬, as I was one of the lucky participants of the first workshop held in early 2008 in Tashkent. And to be honest, I appreciate the impact this project had on me, how it changed the way I see the world.

This year, within a two weeks, 2 workshops been organized with 40 children! It was fantastic to see how ‪emotional‬ and ‪‎exiting‬ experience it was for all these kids. Despite the fact that some of the kids are physically disabled and do not have families, this workshop become a place where they feel themselves free and valued in the society.

The trainer Giacomo Pirozzi - Italian photographer with huge international experience, fantastic teaching abilities and incredibly kind heart. For sure, many kids who had experience of being a part of his workshop in Tashkent would forever hold a bright memories in their minds! Yesterday, on the last day of workshop, no one was able to hold ‪#‎tears‬ of happiness.

Фото-семинар итальянского фотографа Giacomo Pirozzi - один из особых проектов узбекского UNICEF, который успел повлиять на жизни‪ сотни‬ детей в ‪‎Узбекистане‬ и более ‪‎тысячи‬ за ее пределами!

Лично для меня, это еще более ‪особое‬ событие, так как еще в раннем 2008 я был одним из участников первого мастер-класса в Ташкенте. Должен признать, что знания и эмоции которые мне удалось пережить в 2008, очень сильно повлияли на мое видение и уже профессиональную активность сегодня. Giacomo стал не только учителем но и другом семьи. За последние 2 недели, в Ташкенте прошли 2 семинара с 40 детьми. Несмотря на то что некоторые из детей имеют инвалидность и не имеют семей, именно здесь они смогли ощутить легкость общения и свою значимость в обществе. Это однозначно один из самых трогательных и невероятно важных проектов фонда ЮНИСЕФ который действительно помогает и поддерживает детей, объединяет и воодушевляет их! Вчера в последний день мастер класса, никто не мог сдерживать слезы.
